Satellite

Satellite communication depends on the smooth operation of earth stations, both central and remote locations, as well as terminals in VSAT networks.

Using the ESC channel, the Xpress provides the integrated monitoring and control of the following equipment and services in a satellite network:

RF Carrier – performs RF carriers’ integrity check and ensures all RF equipment are doing well and without any RF issue that may affect the actual transmission.

a.	Facilities – performs environment monitoring that includes temperature, humidity, water leak and even physical intrusion check. This will ensure all rooms are with the correct level of cooling, ventilation and protection against water, not exceeding the desired threshold level which may affects the equipment operation.

b.	RF Carrier – performs RF carriers’ integrity check and ensures all RF equipment are doing well and without any RF issue that may affect the actual transmission.

c.	Transmission Equipment – Amplifiers, modems, up/down converters from all the major manufacturers in the world can be monitored and controlled. Dashboards are intuitive and can be modified easily if the customer requires.

d.	Antenna Control Units – monitors and controls ACUs from virtually any vendor. An operator can control the unit from a web browser anywhere in the network just as if they were standing in front of the control unit.

e.	Reporting - Data is automatically captured and stored for all of the key parameters in all managed devices. Xpress trends information for daily, weekly, monthly and yearly web-based reporting.

f.	Third Party NMS – integrate with any other vendor NMS, either as north or south bound system;
